Polyplast is a dynamic young company looking at a strong growth in a short time. The challenge was to design a small compact office of 300 sq ft comprising 35 people and yet make it more expandable in an otherwise mezzanine floor which was not appropriate as an office space. The design responded to the exterior parallel wall which was covered with sheeting whereas the workshop side visibility was controlled with flute glass. There was a purposeful play of plain glass for bringing in light and enable visibility along with flute glass to control visibility. The services were exposed bare but treated skillfully keeping the look raw and edgy. There is a very subtle use of the yellow in the interior color scheme which is also derived from their logo.
