ZEVAR

Designing for a high-end jewellery boutique with a narrow frontage is both interesting and complicated. But we achieved this in style for Zevar – a high-end jewelry boutique, located in the old city area of Anand. Zevar had an extremely narrow site with only 35 feet wide frontage and a depth of 247 feet. Flanked by large buildings on either side, the site offered a unique design challenge. Our architectural response was to insert light wells in form of courtyards that became focal points offering visual respite. The large double height volume of the boutique in the front allows maximum natural light into the building. Of the total area, 4,000 Sq. Ft. is the boutique while the remaining part functions as rented offices.
