14,000 SFT
Anand, Gujarat

Completed (2010)

A high-end jewelry boutique, Zevar was conceptualized to fit in the old city area of Anand on an extremely narrow site with only 35 feet wide frontage and depth of 247 feet. Flanked by large buildings on either side, the site offered an interesting design challenge. The architectural response was to insert light wells in form of courtyards that became focal points offering visual respite. The large double height volume of the boutique in the front allows for maximum natural light penetration in to the building.Of the total area, 4,000 sft work as the boutique while the remaining part functions as rented offices.
