Navrachna University Architecture Building

60,000 SFT

Completed (2015)

Erected in the same campus, this new building is largely built on the same concepts as the old Navrachna University building. To club this new building with previously built structure, a raised platform is designed that becomes a common entrance to both. The platform continues to serve as gathering space eventually merging with the landscape. Here, north and south facades –kept open through openings of varying divisions ultimately allowing in optimal light and air. The louvers are so designed that it controls the harsh sun while lets the soft sun and light seep in; while the west façade is completely closed through which the services run.
